Anyone who wishes to learn Second Life, from the simplest things (like the next lesson on the official Second Life viewer) to the more complex things (like building and scripting), will be delighted with the news that was published today in the Featured News of the Second Life Community. The project to create a series of lessons that will be cataloged in the Second Life University section starts.

To say that I like the idea is very simplistic: I am enthusiastic about this project!

How is a person who wants to learn about Second Life today? First of all, look at the video tutorials found on Youtube. Videos are definitely the quickest way to learn. I first learned and then taught through videos; they meet the majority of people’s needs. However, it is undeniable that not all residents of Second Life are native English speakers, so learning via video can be complex. One aspect that I find interesting is the transcript of each lesson: I admire the commitment and hard work that lives behind the scenes of Second Life University.

There is a thirst for learning; you can see it in the comments of the online video tutorials.
Second Life University will be a success because it satisfies an important request from the Community.

Tutti coloro che desiderano imparare Second Life, dalle cose più semplici (come la prossima lezione sul viewer ufficiale di Second Life) alle cose più complesse (come la costruzione e lo scripting), saranno felici della notizia che è stata pubblicata oggi nelle Featured News della Comunità di Second Life. Parte il progetto di creare una serie di lezioni che saranno catalogate nella sezione Second Life University.

Una persona che desidera apprendere su Second Life oggi come procede? Beh, in primis guarda i video tutorials che trova su Youtube. I video sono sicuramente il modo più immediato per imparare. Io stessa ho dapprima imparato e poi insegnato attraverso i video; essi soddisfano le esigenze della maggioranza delle persone. Tuttavia è innegabile che non tutti i residenti che popolano Second Life sono di madrelingua inglese, quindi l’apprendimento tramite video può essere complesso. Un aspetto che trovo interessante è la trascrizione di ogni lezione: ammiro l’impegno e il grosso lavoro che abita dietro le quinte di Second Life University.

C’è sete di apprendere, lo si vede nei commenti ai diversi video tutorials che si trovano online.
Second Life University sarà un successo, perchè soddisfa un’ importante richiesta della Community.
