A new challenge has started on Facebook: how similar are you to your avatar? The challenge is accepted by posting a picture of your avatar with your real photograph next to it. All accompanied by the tag #slvsrl.
It is pleasant to see so many people enthusiastic about showing themselves without too much worry.
Why has the challenge been so successful?
I think a part of us wants to break down the barriers and contaminate the two worlds, the virtual and the real. After all, in any world, we are still us: our essence doesn’t change!
And yet, there has been some criticism…
Yes, there has been some criticism, especially those who have done everything possible to look as similar as possible to their avatar. An attempt made with a lot of patience and… retouching! 🙂
